Hi there I have 2 datapoint from a Modbus RTU for a Ultrasonic level meter. the two data points are 1) the level and 2 ) the temperature of the fluid. Everything seems to be working in Mango but when I create a dashboard in DGLux I can create a binded gauge for the temperature data point but the level (in meters) is displaying a null value instead of the correct number in mango? Any suggestions?
Null Value in DGLux
Things to check:
- Are you using the correct rendering for the point? For your gauge, on the gauge tab of the inspector, you should have bound your value to one of the inputs. You can click the little chain icon to bring up the binding window. Do any of the options have the correct value?
- Is your session alive? Close DGLux and open it again.
- Could you point end in a trailing space? There is an issue with DGLux 2.5 where it dislikes points named things like "Total Power "
- Are there points with the same point name in a folder on the hierarchy? Are you binding to one "Power" point that is in a point hierarchy folder with multiple points named "Power"? (point name, not extended name (so no device name factored in))
Thank you you solved it! it was a trailing space in the name.
